This code of conduct is a shared commitment to offering work that is thoughtful, responsible, and aligned with the kind of experience Alumah is meant to hold.
Treat every person with respect, care, and humanity.
Do not use shame, manipulation, fear, or coercion.
Do not exploit vulnerability for influence, authority, or gain.
Your work should support reflection and growth—not control.
Alumah is designed to support practice, not pressure.
Create experiences that invite participation without forcing disclosure, conformity, or dependence.People should be free to engage at their own pace, in a way that respects their capacity and circumstances.
Represent your background, experience, and credentials truthfully.
Do not imply qualifications you do not hold.
Do not present opinion as universal truth or authority beyond your role.
Clarity builds trust.
Only offer guidance that is appropriate to your role, training, and scope of practice.
Practitioners may not present their content as medical, psychological, or clinical advice, nor as a substitute for licensed care, unless they are appropriately credentialed and operating within their professional scope.
Alumah may not be used to diagnose, treat, or replace professional care. When appropriate, practitioners should encourage individuals to seek support from qualified professionals.
Do not ask for unnecessary personal disclosure.
Do not encourage sharing in ways that are careless, public, or unsafe.
What someone discloses in this space belongs to them. Use Alumah in a way that honors personal boundaries and confidentiality.
Content on Alumah should be intentional and appropriate for a reflective environment.
Practices, prompts, and guidance should be created with care for emotional and psychological impact.
Do not create or share content that is abusive, degrading, exploitative, or harmful.
Do not use Alumah to deceive, exploit, or pressure others.
This includes misleading claims, false promises, predatory sales behavior, or using authority in ways that undermine a person’s autonomy or well-being.
Your work may guide and support—but should not create unhealthy reliance.
The goal is to help people return to themselves with greater clarity, steadiness, and agency.
Do not use Alumah for spam, harassment, impersonation, or content you do not have the right to share.
Respect intellectual property and the trust of the community.
Alumah is built around reflection, presence, privacy, and meaningful practice.
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend practitioner access if this code is violated or if conduct is inconsistent with the values of the platform.
